In recent years we saw the great resignation, as countless people quit their jobs and changed career paths.
In order to make Call of Duty Warzone more accessible to non gamer audiences, what if it became more than a game?
What if Call of Duty became
… a job?
In COD we trust.
We created CodCoin:
the first cryptocurrency earned by playing a video game.
How it works:
Warzone makes $5.2 million off of daily micro transactions.
We used a fraction of this income for player salaries.
The longer you play Warzone, the more CodCoin you earn.
Play Hard, Work Hard
With no boss, no interview, and no deadlines, Warzone is not only a job, it’s the best job ever.
So we posted openings on job search websites:
LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed…
We also targeted commuters in real life,
Letting them know on their way to work that Warzone is hiring.
