PENNINGTON CHALLENGES THE NFL TO FLIP ALL TURF TO REAL, SUSTAINABLE GRASS.

16 out of 32 NFL teams still play on artificial turf, despite its irreparable impact on players and the environment. So Pennington, a humble grass-seed company, challenged the biggest league in sports to #FlipTheTurf to a more sustainable grass field. What started as a simple petition on Change.org, became the dominating social conversation on Super Bowl Sunday—bigger than the game itself. Hell hath no fury like an angry football fan.
